Tutor Coordinator (Volunteer)
Role Purpose: Oversees the recruitment, onboarding, pairing, and support of volunteer tutors to ensure a smooth and effective tutoring experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Review tutor applications and maintain the tutor database
- Onboard new tutors and explain programme expectations
- Coordinate tutor–student pairings
- Track tutor availability and engagement
- Conduct bi-weekly check-ins
- Act as the primary point of contact for tutors
Skills & Qualities
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Organised and reliable
- Empathetic and professional
- Comfortable with basic tracking tools
Time Commitment: Approximately 3 hours per week (flexible)
